Golden Hour on the Bazaar Road

The Dalhousie main bazaar road at golden hour — warm amber mist, colonial corrugated-iron-roofed hill station buildings, deodar trees, and pedestrians silhouetted against the last light. By 4:30 PM in November, the sun drops behind the western ridge and the valley fills with diffused amber warmth from a sun you can no longer see but still feel on every surface. This light lasted exactly 18 minutes.
