Garam Sadak — The Deodar Avenue at Dusk

A quiet Dalhousie road at twilight flanked by towering deodar cedar trees, amber streetlights glowing against a deep blue November sky. The British built Garam Sadak (Warm Road) deliberately facing the sun, so convalescing soldiers could take their prescribed constitutionals in warmth even in January — medicine disguised as a promenade. The road still works perfectly.
